personal training sessions tailored to your specific goals.
Personal training provides faster results as programming is geared toward your current fitness level. Programming can vary as it depends on if your goals are weight loss based, sports driven, or for athletic purposes. Personal trainers possess the education need to execute exercises correctly, adhering to proper form and posture, minimizing risk of injury.
A personal program will be developed specifically based on your desired goals and timeframe. Nutritional counseling can be included to supplement your personal training programming. Programming will begin with an depth physical assessment to understand your current fitness level.
One on one training will allow you to work closely with me to efficiently and effectively achieve your desired goals. To ensure that you are consistently making progress, activity will be monitored and measurements will be taken weekly. Not only will you hold yourself accountable, but as your coach, I will be there to provide motivation and support.
Nutrition is beneficial to both health and wellness and as such provides the foundation for all of your life’s activities. Within your weight loss goals, nutrition will play an important role. No matter how hard you hustle in the gym or in your personal training sessions, your efforts will be for not if you are consuming foods that are counter productive to your goals.
As a soon to be Registered Dietician and Master of Science Candidate, I will be able to counsel you with the proper knowledge of anatomy, physiology, advanced nutrition, and medical nutrition therapy. A comprehensive intervention will provide evidence based suggestions given by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Through a food recall, I will be able to determine what energy nutrients you are currently getting from your meals using ESHA analysis. Together we will set realistic goals based on set time frame provided by yourself. Nutrition counseling can occur through one on one sessions held at a frequency determined by yourself. An initial consultation is required before you can book follow- up sessions. Counseling can also occur through Skype. Initial consultations are one hour and each follow up session is 45 minutes.
